Amazing photograph of R.A.F raid on Stavanger Aerodrome.
This remarkable picture, taken from an R.A.F. aircraft of Bomber Command during an actual raid, shows the accuracy of our bobmers.
A salvo of heigh explosive bombs aimed at the runway on Stavanger Aerodrome can be seen bursting right on the target. Bomb craters which pit
the runway and the surronding area testify to the severity of the bombing to wich the enemy has been subjected. Enemy aircraft, many of them
badly damaged, are seen distributed singly and in groups around the edge of the Areodrome.
